Why research?

Mental health does not develop by chance. Numerous studies show that whether a child grows up to be mentally healthy depends on a complex interplay biological, psychological, and family and social factors.

We are researching…

  1. Mental Health Challenges in Everyday School Life:
We survey how children, adolescents, teachers, and parents are truly doing—in an age-appropriate, anonymous, and scientifically validated manner.

  2. Factors of resilience throughout development:
What protects children from becoming overwhelmed during sensitive phases? How can we specifically promote these protective factors in everyday school life?

  3. Effectiveness of Prevention:
We continuously evaluate whether and how our programs are effective—for example, in terms of emotion regulation, self-efficacy, class cohesion, and stress management.

On goood.institute, we take a systematic and evidence-based approach:

First, our psychologicalexperts scientifically sound, age-appropriate questionnaires to reliably assess psychological stress and support needs among students, teachers, and parents.

The collected data is then analyzed byresearchers with doctoral degrees in order to identify robust areas of action . Based on this, we derive specific psychological topics for each grade level.

The resulting learning formats are developed through an
iterative process and tested and continuously improved.

In conclusion we evaluate we systematically evaluate the effectiveness of our measures and publish the results in recognized scientific journals to ensure maximum transparency, quality assurance, and societal impact.
